Hey everyone. A three day holiday weekend is upon us. Today in social studies we completed the Interactive Notebook pages 168-170 and shared the correct responses. Students in Mr. Hogue's class also began working on making flash cards from the grid sheets as the vocabulary terms were listed for chapter 25 on the Focus Sheet. Students were given one of these in class and it is posted here as well in case you have misplaced yours. The flash cards are not due Tuesday. We will work with them in a few days. Today a Mentor Mob of videos was posted around 3:30 for students to view over the long weekend. There are 9 videos here but they are all very short at a couple of minutes each. The topic is longitude, latitude, and time zones. Tuesday we will post a quick quiz on Edmodo to follow up for practice and a "real" quiz will be on or about Friday of next week. If you are familiar with using longitude and latitude, these will be review. If you are not, follow along carefully and have a good jump on next week's activities.
