Monday students were introduced to Canvas which is a student management program that will allow us to deliver on-line content to students. One day, this will replace Edmodo as our main mode of communication between student and teacher. For now, please continue using Edmodo to keep up with our daily blogs. We will make the announcement which will mean a switch. This will be used primarily by social studies classes as we have been given the one to one ability in each classroom. Other teachers will continue using Edmodo. We spent time learning Canvas by working through a Veterans Day activity about memorials.
Test Tips:
Wednesday is the next test and it will be to write a summary paragraph about chapter 37. You will have your notebook to write a pre-write. Then, you will be required to use only the pre-write to complete your summary paragraph. It is modeled exactly after the one we wrote for chapter 32 the other day.
